Technology & Software

Viking Systems is founded on the principle of continually inventing efficient engineering methods and to expand into new areas that will benefit our clients through quality programs and services. We develop a suite of computer programs called SAGA and ODIN that are used by our offices around the world to load and assess structural finite element models (FE, FEM, FEA), to manage corrosion data throughout ships, predict future corrosion and loads using statistics to ensure quality and compliance with classification society requirements. This program has expanded over 20 years to be all-inclusive of the work we do and gives both our seasoned and newly hired team members an enormous advantage to do quality work in a controlled and efficient format that benefits our clients.

We are proud to be part of the structural naval architecture community where our clients and we continually work to introduce new ideas and methods – giving inputs for our developers to create new exciting features within our SAGA and ODIN computer programs.

Viking Systems’ engineers are all engaged in the use and demand for new features of SAGA, driving the development of the program by frequent communication and exchange of ideas to continue to expand the program and to ensure the consistent quality-oriented solutions Viking Systems prides itself on to address complex and difficult engineering problems.

Contact us with your unique structural engineering problem or project and we will be ready to engage!
